Scott Drichel's Kidney's Are Misbehaving

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Scott Drichel. In late 2021 I was diagnosed with kidney failure. I need your assistance to offset the loss of income from being unable to work and help pay the unexpected medical balances that remain after what insurance was and continues to be willing to cover.

So got up on a late October morning like any other morning. Got ready, did all the things, and went to work, knowing that I had a Dr. appointment at 10 am. He was a brand new doctor, because of new health insurance. It was to be a routine visit. The nurse had checked my blood pressure and then immediately left the room. The doctor then came in and proceeded to check my blood pressure several more times. He asked me if I was having any symptoms and I said no I am feeling fine. He then proceeded to tell me that my blood pressure was the highest that he has ever seen being a doctor. I was told to immediately to the emergency room at the hospital. I went to the ER feeling confident that everything was ok. I just figured this was all precautionary since I have no medical history because of being adopted. I sat on a bed in a busy hallway for around 10 hours just waiting and waiting for answers. Finally, I was told that I was going to have to be admitted and that art was just for observation. One night turned into two, two turned into three. I was there for an entire week over
Halloween. The diagnosis was that my kidneys were failing. The kidney specialist went as far as to tell me that I needed to get on the transplant list. This came as a real shock to me. I mean, I felt ok.

After being released from the hospital, they put me on so many different types of drugs that I missed work for well over a month. I found out later that much of the mediations that I was on were not even needed and that is why I felt so loopy all the time and could barely function. I was put on an aggressive antibiotic that wasn't even required.

Treatment has been ongoing, drawn-out, and oh so much blood work. There still are more appointments and I am sure more blood work is to be done. I will update everyone with my progress as I journey through this,

These are the related expenses so far:
$5,958.53 - Hospital stay plus other doctor visits and lab work.
$293.26 - Hospital lab work
I have also been unable to work for two months, which has resulted in lost
wages of $4,000.
