Scott Day

Scott Day is a hardworking, God loving, caring, devoted, husband, father, son, and grandpa. He was recently diagnosed with a very rare case of Non-Hodgkin ALK positive large B Cell Lymphoma.

This cancer is extremely rare with only 150 cases ever documented.  In the last 4 months Scott has had to have 2 surgeries to remove lymph nodes for testing, 2 biopsies, and a bone marrow biopsy. Not only has this been a emotional and unexpected impact on the family it also has been a financial one as well. Even with insurance the bills are becoming more extensive and it’s only the beginning.

He will be going through chemo with a port being inserted for the next 4 1/2 months, for 5 days at a time with two weeks off at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix.  He has been blessed with a job that has helped over the past couple months with time off, but has now used up all benefits.

This page is being set up by family who are looking to reach out to family, friends and the community who has known and loved Scott for years.
