My family & I are asking for any sort of financial help that you may be able to contribute towards Scott Cotillier, our loving partner, dad & grandpa. He has fought hard to battle his sickness and the struggles are coming to an end where he can finally be at peace. Our goal is ambitious but anything you contribute would help us with end of life planning, medical bills, funeral expenses, etc.
Scott was first diagnosised with stage 3 lung cancer in March 2016, he began an experimental treatment study to help with future cancer cure involving chemotherapy and radiation. He has fought hard from that point and seemed to be winning the battle. But since September 2016, due to complications from the cancer treatment affecting his pulmonary fibrosis, it has been a downward battle. He has been unable to breath on his own and the amount of oxygen he needs has continuiously increased. He has been in a lot of pain, stress and worry. He was put on medication to ease his pain and make him comfortable since Sunday October 15th. On October 17th he entered Hospice to receive their care and passed away peacefully that same day surrounded by those he loved.
Due to the quickness of the illness and no time for planning, there is little to nothing available to him in terms of financial support.
We thank you for your love, support, prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.
