Scott Baize medical funds

Hi, I'm Sydney, Scott's daughter. A week ago I took my dad to the ER because he had fallen and hurt his wrist but was also experiencing intense hallucinations. Turns out: he had a critically ill infection that was spreading throughout his body. They immediately admitted him to the Intensive Care Unit and put him into a medically induced coma. He has had two surgeries so far, on his hand and spine. Multiple specialists are checking in with him each day and I truly feel like he's getting great care, but they have all informed us this will not be a short hospital stay. Once he is able to be taken off the ventilator, the recovery process will be a min of 2 months.

As you may know, my mom is an IA at a public school and has been their sole source of income for a few years now, with my dad's pension being barely enough to cover their basic bills. The reason for this go fund me is to help her with the copious medical bills getting my dad better will bring. If you know my dad- you know he'd give the shirt off his back to a stranger. If you know my mom- you know she's always the one giving help, never asking. This time has been very hard on my family, and I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has reached out to us.
