Our dad, Scott Andrews, has faced immense health issues in the last few months that have left him unable to work. He is currently in liver failure and being cared for in the ICU at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital while awaiting a liver transplant. His liver failure is caused by a genetic predisposition that his brother, Mike, suffered from and eventually passed from in 2015.
Scott is a proud father to his three children Sam, Blair, and Glennie, beloved grandfather (aka Papa John) to Weston, Brooklyn, and Bella, cherished partner to Joyce, and best friend to his dog Duncan. Scott has been a long-time resident of Point Edward, where he has raised his kids and spent his life working on his farms.
Anyone who knows Scott knows that he is the first to lend a hand when anyone is in need. Now, as he faces a long, uphill battle, we’re asking for help to support Scott and his family through this difficult time.
Every contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference. As Scott’s family, we are deeply grateful for any help you might be able to offer.
