Donate to help us pay for Scott's cremation expenses

Story Update on Scott:

On July 29th, Scott was admitted to the hospital in Fort Smith Arkansas due to septic shock. He ended up in a medically enduced coma and on a ventilator to help him breathe. Scott fought and battled multiple infections, along with having to be fed with a feeding tube and diagnosed with multiple mini strokes. On some occasions, after being taken off sedation, Scott was able to respond to his family by opening his eyes and with movement. Unfortunately, on August 9th, 2025, Scott lost his fight as he ended up going into septic shock for a second time and went into cardiac arrest.

Now since Scott has left us, we have been trying to come together as a family to pay for the full cost of his cremation. His cremation will cost a total of $1,800. Plus the cost of his urn along with other cremation expenses. We have put forth as much as we can of what we are able to do as a family. Many people have contacted us asking us what they can do to help. If anyone can donate to help us with his cremation it would be very appreciated. This has been a difficult time for our whole family, but moreso for his wife Lindsy. Scott was only 32 years old and went through immense amount of suffering the last 3 months which also contributed to financial hardship do to the fact that his decline in health had made it unable for him and Lindsy to work.

Lindsy is going to need all of the support that she can get right now. We are hoping to bring Scotty home very soon so we can honor and celebrate his life going forward.

Previous Story Update on Scott and why this gofundme was initially created:

I am Scott and Lindsy's Aunt Jenn and their Uncle Sean and I are trying to help raise some money for Scott and his wife Lindsy. Scott has become critically ill which has led Lindsy to become his full time around the clock caregiver. Due to his around the clock care, and his constant hospital stays, it has taken a tremendous toll on them both financially. They have been struggling to keep up on their bills and other important expenses because they are both not able to work. Along with their stuggling to pay their bills, they do not have a working vehicle to transport Scott back and forth to his doctors appointments and to the hospitals which are essential in helping him improve his quality of life. They are having to rely on some friends nearby and family who live 2 hours away for rides when they need them.

Scott is currently in a hospital on a ventilator and in an induced coma fighting for his life. Everything they have experienced within the last 3 to 4 months has taken its toll mentally, emotionally, physically, and financially as it has been a nightmare for them both.

They can use all of the help that they can get during this devastating time. Scott and Lindsy are a very special part of mine and Sean's lives and we love them dearly as so many others out there do.
