Hello all my name is Breanna Clark and I am the niece of Scott Lyman. I am creating this page on behalf of my Uncle Scott and his fiancé Cassandra.

My Uncle Scott has always been the big kid on the block. He made parties fun, family gathering entertaining, and came up with all the cool games for us to play!

Back in March he went in for a routine colonoscopy. His doctor found some things concerning and sent some samples off to pathology. He was soon diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. He has undergone surgery where they removed 8in of his colon.

In April, he took his fiancé Cassandra to the hospital due to horrendous pain in her abdomen. She was soon admitted and was scheduled to have surgery to remove her gallbladder. While in surgery, they realized that it was not her gallbladder causing her pain. Instead it was a lesion on her liver. They took samples to send to pathology. While waiting for pathology to come back she underwent some scans. With all the results that came back, she has been diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer that has metastasized to her liver and lungs.

On May 13th Cassandra will start her first chemotherapy treatment. As of right now she will go through 5 cycles of a very intense treatment. Her cancer team will then come back together to see what the next steps are for her.

On May 31st my Uncle Scott will begin his chemotherapy treatment. He will go through 8 cycles of chemotherapy.

Both my Uncle Scott and Cassandra are going to have a long journey ahead of them. In this challenging time, I want to ask for any donations to help them out with medical bills, medications, life in general.
