Scotland to Oakwell Bike Ride

The Liam Jones Legacy was set up in May 2018 in remembrance  of a much loved son, brother, partner and friend Liam. Despite Liam seeming such a happy high spirited young man, we were all unaware of the demons that Liam was actually battling inside. This unfortunately led to Liam tragically taking his own life at the age of 24. Since then we have dedicated ourselves to raising funds to donate to local mental health charities, which help people who are battling mental health issues like Liam. We are hoping to raise money to split between the Legacy, Barnsley Samaritans and Men Matters Scotland. Men matter Scotland is a group based in drumchapel glasgow (Gary’s Local area ) preventing suicide and promoting the wellbeing and peer support of men in Scotland. To do this our very own Gary Tedford will be cycling a whopping 250 miles from Glasgow to Oakwell on the first game of next season! Please help us reach our goal to support those who are in need!
