We need your help getting to South Africa for the Masters Hockey World Cup .

After taking home Silver medals at the Masters Hockey Indoor World Cup in April, the Scotland Over 35 men's team are now preparing for the Masters Hockey Outdoor World Cup in Cape Town.

It's a 10 nation tournament, taking place between 12th-21st October 2024...with all teams self-funding their travel, accommodation, registration, and training sessions.

This last part is why we're asking for your help.

We have a strong squad selected, and great recent history in tournaments with this age group (2nd place at Indoor World Cup 2024; 4th place at Outdoor European Championship 2023), but as amateur athletes there's a not insignificant personal financial commitment in just getting to the tournament.

Between flights, accommodation and playing kit (£1,500 + £1,500 + £120 per person), and the £900 squad registration fee alone...it can pretty quickly become prohibitively expensive without support from fundraising and sponsors.

Any support you can offer will help ease the financial burden on individual players, and fully focus our efforts on physical and on-pitch preparations to proudly represent Scotland in South Africa.
