HELP the SCOTLAND National Cerebral Palsy Football Team get to the 2025 European Championships!
Friends, local leaders, businesses and supporters,
my name is Matthew Wynne and I have the honour of captaining the Scotland National CP Football Team which enables us, as athletes who suffer from cerebral palsy or a brain acquired injury, to play competitive football at national and international level.
In April 2024, the team made history by winning the IFCPF World Championship in Spain - a first for Scotland! I was deeply honoured to have been awarded MVP - Most Valuable Player of the Tournament.
We have now qualified to represent Scotland again - this time at the IFCPF European Championships, taking place August 2025 at Loughborough University, England...…but there is one big challenge in our way: funding.
Despite being the reigning world champions, players work incredibly hard to fundraise to pay for the privilege of representing Scotland and our team does not receive enough financial backing to cover the essential costs of competing: player kit, travel, accommodation, equipment and tournament fees. Without urgent support, we may not be able to attend so am asking for your help.
Whether you're a local business, councillor, sports supporter or community member, I am reaching out in the hope that you will back us so the team can proudly wear the Scotland shirt on the European stage.
Any form of support - a donation, a sponsorship or even just sharing our story can make a massive difference.
The Scotland CP Team is about much more than football: it's about equal opportunity, visibility and pride.

Let's make sure the 2024 world champions get the chance to become champions of Europe!
Many thanks,
Matthew.
