Scotia & Jordan's Bus was robbed!

I got hit all at once today.. this morning while unloading the car we left it unattended for a few minutes and were robbed, a backpack was stolen with phone, wallet, ID, keys, laptop all gone. For the first time in my life I bought a spanking new phone, I wanted to be set for filming with the bus and reliability when we go off-grid, two days later and its gone. I spent the day searching downtown for our belongings, with banks closed for the weekend and no wallet I was reminded of what its like again to be completely broke again, I've worked so hard to become stable and set aside all my extra money to put into the bus and had that feeling of security pulled right from under me. I drove out to my bus to get my mind off the madness of the morning but the blows kept coming, when I got there it was empty, my bus had been broken into and my tools and equipment were stolen. The bus was locked and secured but someone had pried the roof hatch right off the hinges, breaking it and plundering the loot inside. Parts for my solar set up were stolen leaving the bus powerless, the same description sums up how I feel right now, powerless. Months of work, thousands of dollars worth of stuff stolen, It's hard to describe how gut wrenched I feel having my dreams pushed back. My last few dollars were spent on these signs, hopefully to deter anyone else or maybe the returning bandits from taking the little I have left or doing more damage to my bus. I have had many good days lately and a bad one was a long time coming, another day another grind starts tomorrow.

We lost over 4 thousand dollars worth of items on November 13th, this is a huge set back for us as we can't even continue with the bus at all without our tools, any help is greatly appreciated by the both of us. I feel strange putting something out there to ask for money, I have pride in the independence I've gained over these years of hard work and have never in my life been one to ask for help with nothing in return. I will be dedicating a mural in the bus with the names of everyone who has helped us with this project, everyone who spent some time working on the bus or who help us recover financially from this. I appreciate all our friends and family and skoolie community who have reached out and are routing for us to recover and get this rig on the road. thx - Scotia & Jordan
