Scooter's Final Expense Fund

Hi, my name is Cindy Miller I live in Sunnyland (Washington IL). Our community suffered a horrific tragedy on Wednesday, February 9 2022, when of one of our citizens Jerry "Scooter" "Scotty" Armstrong was a pedestrian killed by being hit by 2 vehicles (the 2nd vehicle drove off & the driver has not been identified).https://www.week.com/2022/02/11/washington-police-ask-help-after-fatal-wednesday-crash/ https://www.week.com/2022/02/10/washington-pedestrian-identified-after-being-hit-killed-while-crossing-street/  
Scotty leaves behind 2 children, lots of family & friends.

 

Scooter was a fixture in Washington. He could be seen walking along side Rt 8 as he didn't drive. He was a special soul & Sunnyland will miss seeing him walking.

 

I am starting a Go Fund Me on request of the family to be able to take care of his final expenses (cremation, urn, etc.) If there is any money left over, the family would like to donate to Tri-County National Alliance of Mental Illness.
