Scooby's Emergency Surgery: Need your help
Donation protected
My day started at 2 am this morning when my dog Scooby woke me up with his cries. After trying to help him go outside I quickly noticed that he was unable to move his back legs or stand on his own. Scooby was in an intense amount of pain and lost all mobility in his back legs. It was heartbreaking watching him try to stand followed by collapsing and crying.
At 2am we drove him to the emergency vet in Concord NH. Shortly after arriving I learned that Scooby was other has Degenerative Myelopathy, Intervertebral disc disease or Spinal Stroke.
After receiving the MRI results confirming Degenerative Myelopathy Scooby will be having emergency cervical spinal surgery today. After surgery Scooby will have serious recovery time as he learns to walk again and regain control of his legs.
My heart breaks for my best friend, and I am committed to caring for him while he recovers. The total cost of his care will be around $14,000, I am thankful and grateful for any support towards reaching this goal.
Please consider helping me save my best friend, it is deeply appreciated.
