Hi, my name is Lisa, and I’m raising funds to help extend training for a rescue dog named Scooby so he has a real chance at finding a safe and permanent home.

Scooby was rescued from the dog meat trade in South Korea, but the trauma from that life left him fearful and unsure how to trust people. After developing a bite history, he was facing euthanasia.

When Scooby was at risk of losing his life, I stepped in to help arrange for him to be transferred to a professional trainer in Alaska who works with dogs that need rehabilitation and time to learn safe behaviors.

Scooby is now in training and making progress, but dogs with difficult pasts need time, patience, and consistency to truly succeed. This fundraiser will help cover Scooby’s continued training, care, and transportation so we can give him the time he needs to become adoptable and find the right home.
