Scooby Doo 16. Mile Fundraiser Run

 

Radcliffe on Trent Golf Club Captains, Chris and Louise are raising much needed funds for the

Nottinghamshire Hospice and the Radcliffe Animal Centre

Although these established charities may seem very different they both provide a huge service to the local community

The Hospice pledges to add life to every day to those family members that have been told their illness cannot be cured, the Animal Centre will rescue, rehabilitate and re home dogs, cats and rabbits that go on to become a much loved part of the family

Both Chris and Louise have had personal experience with their chosen charities

They have harnessed fellow golfer, Simon, aka Scooby Doo to run from Cotgrave village centre on Saturday May 7th, via Radcliffe, Upper Saxondale, Bingham, Cropwell Butler and finishing at the Radcliffe Animal Centre, a total of 14 miles

All donations will be gratefully received and split equally between the Nottinghamshire Hospice, as the physical and physiological support they provide is completely free to families at their most challenging of times, the RSPCA Animal Centre Trust is an independent charity reliant on donations from the local community as it receives no financial assistance from the Lottery, Government or national RSPCA
