Scoil Aislinn School Bus

We are parents of children who attend Scoil Aislinn. Scoil Aislinn is a special needs school for children with autism and learning difficulties. The school is based in cork city but it serves pupils from all over the county. 

The school is a wonderful place for our children to learn what all children learn in school but it is done at the childs own pace and is also mindful of the issues that can affect our childs learning including sensory and behavioural.

Our school bus is a vital resource which helps our children to deal with sensory issues that can occur when exposed to new environments. It also teaches them about social interaction with others with the ultimate goal being that our children can become independent. 

Without our school bus our children will become isolated from society this will affect the skills that they have already learned. Our current school bus has been a warrior for us but unfortunately is nearing retirement and a newer model is required to keep up the vital service.
