Scleroderma fight

As many of you know by now my sister Yesenia has been dealing with a disease called scleroderma. This is an autoimmune disease that affects the skin, organs, back, and makes you feel fatigue. It also causes digital ulcers which are painful open wounds that a scleroderma person gets when they don’t get enough blood flowing. This year alone Yesenia was hospitalized around 6 times and had 3 major surgeries. This made her lose a lot of weight and brought her down to 74 pounds. She is now currently home after being hospitalized for 24 days due to complications with her Gastrointestinal tract. Gastrointestinal means that she’s having trouble with her intestines in digesting food, absorbing energy and nutrients, and getting rid of the waste of feces. The main reason why the hospital let her go home was due to the fact that they did not know what to do anymore to help her out. They recommend for her to go to UCLA and get help from them. We are starting this go fund page to be able to raise money in order for her to get the best GI doctor. As some may know going to the doctors without insurance can add up. The medications that she was given by this unfortunately did not get covered by her current insurance, so we are asking if any of you can help in any way. Any amount would help out. We also ask to keep praying for her so that she will get treated by the best doctors and that they will have wisdom beyond our imagination.
