Pat's new shower. Thanks for everyone's help and support!
On January 28, 2021, Pat Bradley was rushed to the hospital by ambulance because she was experiencing extreme pain. The Emergency Room doctors discovered that she had a spinal hematoma most likely as a cause from the drug she has taken for 25 years to prevent her from having another stroke. The emergency surgery determined the hematoma ruptured causing severe spinal cord damage leaving Pat paralyzed from the chest down. Her actual diagnosis is paralysis from thoracic spine number T4 down. Her ASIA score is an A meaning it is a complete injury. Currently, Pat is at Shepherd Spinal Center for rehab but it is fully expected that she will live in a wheelchair the rest of her life. Although she qualifies for a grant to pay a portion of her bathroom remodel, a significant portion of the bathroom remodel must be paid by Pat and her family. In order for Pat to be discharged from Shepherd Center, she must have a bathroom that accommodates her wheelchair. If you can, please donate and if you can't please share. Let's help bless Pat with what she needs to live a fully independent and functional life.
Thank You,
Pat's friends and family
