Luis suffered a fractured C1 vertebra in his neck, severe nerve damage from his neck down to his arm, bleeding in his lungs and neck, and fractures to his wrist and ankle. He currently has no feeling or movement in his left arm and will require extensive therapy and possible surgeries to regain function.

Because of his injuries, Luis is unable to work, leaving his wife and daughter without their only source of income while medical expenses continue to grow. Luis is fighting hard to recover so he can provide for his family again.
