Scientific research trip to Madagascar

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amelia and I am fundraising for my trip to Madagascar in the summer of 2026. It is an educational trip working with the people at Operation Wallacea to protect and conserve the wildlife by researching and documenting the nature and species around us, first in the forests of Mahamavo, then later the oceans surrounding Nosy Be.

I think Operation Wallacea is really important because it gives students like me a chance to take part in meaningful biodiversity and research. the expeditions are student funded and led by experts, they don’t just help us gain hands on experience - they also collect data that is used in scientific publications and real world conservation work. It’s a great way to learn and contribute to something that matters.

I will be completing the Yorkshire Dales Three Peak Challenge in a few weeks as part of my fundraising. It is a 24 mile walk to be completed in under 12 hours, so if you would like to sponsor me here to help me reach this target that would be really appreciated.

Thank you x
