Free online science textbooks

I am an adjunct professor in New York City
teaching physics, astronomy, and music.
I write online textbooks and lecture visuals
for my classes that are designed to be easily used by other teachers.
They're written at the high school and early
college level and they have extra layers of more advanced material.  Everything is free and online.
I'm asking for support through gofundme.com
because I don't make enough money teaching and
because the more support I get, the easier it is to
write visuals.

The textbooks are also designed to be useful to anyone studying for the AP physics, chemistry, environmental science, and music theory exams.

For donors, I will write customized material if you have something specific in mind.

One of the goals of the textbooks is to rise above the
level of multiple-choice teaching that dominates
today's textbook  They take their inspiration from
an "Order of Magnitude" physics class taught by
Peter Goldreich and Sterl Phinney at Caltech.

Subjects for the textbooks include astronomy  www.jaymaron.com/astro.html
the physics of music, www.jaymaron.com/music/music.html
and astrobiology

with a full list at www.jaymaron.com/

My background is that I have a Ph. D. in physics
from Caltech, I have published 20 papers in the Astrophysical Journal, I play viola in chamber orchestras, and I teach at the American Museum of Natural History, NYU, and CUNY.

Cheers,
Jay Maron
