"Beholder" is the senior thesis project of Syracuse University film student Jackson Barnes.

Set in a secret government laboratory, the facility maintenance man Lloyd must fight for survival as a strange and unnerving extraterrestrial figure enters the lab in search of a lost artifact.

With an emphasis on practical effects and a surreal atmosphere, "Beholder" aims to be a modern love letter to classic science fiction works.
