Our Vision
Our Vision is for every child to have the opportunity to become a FreeForm Lion Tamer.
FreeForm Lion Tamers is a specialised program for schools that fosters in each child the understanding of their own value and worth.
Incorporating the philosophies of FreeForm Martial Arts with a narrative component to put into context the values being conveyed, this program gives children the power and sense of presence to be true to themselves with the mental and physical strength to protect their path with respect, honour, integrity and balance.
Our Aim
The Lion Tamers Program aims to foster strength in students to be able to stand up, speak up and step forward to engage their world with confidence.
It is our contention that the more balanced children are mentally and physically, the better position they are in to make good choices, moving forward with a clearer purpose.
Reducing Stress...creating and developing the best version of themselves. Lion Tamers is giving children the tools to address the current issues they are facing today.
How Lion Tamers Came To Be
The Lion Tamers Program has emerged and been developed from the principle teachings and philosophies of FreeForm Martial Arts which was founded and created by Stephen Sonsie. Stephen has a Masters Degree Black Belt in FreeForm Martial Arts with over 40 successful years of experience teaching martial arts and fitness to schools, corporate and sporting bodies in Australia and overseas.
The Lion Tamers Program
Uniquely designed to support teachers in delivering this engaging program easily and independently within the classroom.
The effeictive format has been structured to include a succinct training package, easy to follow teacher manual and most importantly, fun and informative video tutorials to be presented to students.
The Lion Tamers Team believes this form of delivery is the best possible format to engage students right across Australia and Internationally.
Lion Tamers has a story to tell...of brave Lion Tamers who face their lions with courage and determination.
Using the lion as a metaphor for the world they live in, FreeForm has created this fun and unique program to challenge and connect children to their every day lives with confidence and focus.
Children are taken on a journey of self- discovery with the FreeForm Circus characters, Tomu (Practical Intelligence), Fin (Physical Intelligence), Shard (Mental Intelligence) and Zen (Awareness).
The Lion Tamers Team have successfully completed trials in schools with amazing results.
Crowd Funding – Donation Request
The Lion Tamers Team are now reaching out to the community to seek assistance in funding the completion of the Lion Tamers Program.
This funding will enable The Lion Tamer program to be finished and presented to schools as soon as possible.
How The Funds Will Be Utilised
Our Way Of Saying Thank You For Your Support
To thank the communities for their donations in supporting the Lion Tamers Program, the Team are offering 16 schools a free workshop where children will experience a fun interactive and rewarding session with Stephen Sonsie and his Team.
This will be offered to the first 16 schools that forward an expression of interest in being part of this innovative program.
