School Van Recovery

So here's the deal, one of Birmingham's best kept secrets is this small private school called Build UP.  Their goal is to help youth become skilled, educated, homeowners, and they were even featured on NBC's TODAY Show, over the summer, so make sure you've checked that out above.

Unfortunately though, while they're trying to do good, a few rotten eggs are throwing up obstacles. Over the last year or so, they've been robbed of a half dozen school vehicles, 3 trailers, and numerous tools that are all used to do so much for students in the most underserved areas of Birmingham. This stuff is being stolen from a church, y'all. These vehicles are used to transport students to worksites where they learn the skills necessary to secure living wage employment that will assure they will not be victims of generational poverty, criminality and undue health issues. They also use the vehicles to take their high school students to college classes at Lawson State and Jefferson State Community Colleges. If you have any money to spare, please support this cause to help them get students rolling towards their futures again. Help Build UP get back on its wheels and  contribute to the betterment of every citizen of Birmingham.
