School Supply Drive for Santiago Sunrise Village Community

Hi everyone,

My name is Jose Armando Jauregui, and I want to start by sincerely thanking everyone who has contributed to this great over the past years. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to distribute over hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies to kids in the Sunrise Village Mobile Home Park community! This year marks our 4th time hosting this event. Every donation will go directly to help us purchase school supplies for the Santiago Sunrise Village Community.

For a little background: I grew up in Sunrise Village Mobile Home Park. Like many families still living there today, my family faced financial hardships. I remember my dad taking my siblings and me school supply shopping just once a year, trying to stretch every dollar. It’s because of those experiences that I started this fundraiser. My hope is to continue to help provide the children of the community with school supplies essentials to start the school year with confidence. Being in a position now to give back to the community that shaped me means the world. Sunrise Village will always be home, and this is my way of paying it forward. Thank you again for taking the time to read, share, and support this effort. Together, we can make Year 4 the best one yet!
