In Grand Vide, a small town on La Gonâve island in Haiti, the upcoming school year brings new challenges for families and students. Many non-profit and aid organizations have scaled back or left the area, leaving local families without the support they need to prepare their children for school. Education remains a vital pathway for hope and long-term community growth, but students and teachers face significant barriers when they lack the basic tools to learn.

This fundraiser will help 50-75 students in Grand Vide by providing essential school supplies. With the help of local teachers and school administrators, we aim to distribute notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers, geometry sets for older students, and backpacks. These items are often out of reach for many families, and without them, students struggle to keep up in class and participate fully in their education. By equipping students with the supplies they need, we can help them start the school year with confidence and give them a better chance to succeed.
