School Repairs Project

Donation protected
I am a senior missionary, educator and chef and I operate  a small country mission school in North Alabama.  As a small business owner, I have been using an old school building that was built in 1983.   The school building is sorely in need of repairs and at the present time I do not have the necessary finances to replace the roof that is leaking nor to make the other repairs.  A good convection oven and commercial refrigerator is also needed for the cooking and baking classes for the students.  The building is owned by my 95 year old mother who has given me the privilege of using it to educate boys and girls in practical education (sewing, cooking, gardening, etc.) as well as academics, while training them to be missionaries.  My mother operated her school in this building for over 12 years and retired in  2012.  After the tornado raced through our property my mother was faced with home repairs and the loss of one mobile home.  Being a widow, she not only suffered the loss of her husband in 2008, but her eldest son and youngest daughter in 2013.  She and I alone have been managing the 25 acres on which the school is located.  Someone was hired by my mother to repair the roof, but it was not installed properly and now rain is flowing through the roof and has caused  some damage.  Her resources were exhausted and now I must have the repairs completed.  The school is  a mission school, even though it is a business, and is supported by tuition.  Many of the parents are  very poor, therefore the tuition is kept at a low rate. The school desires the support from other sources in order to help repair the school, so that the  school building can be used in other ways to financially  take care of the monthly expenses and other projects.  The goal is to raise $15,000 before the winter sets in and it would be difficult to repair the roof.  The monies would also help to lay gas lines so the school will have an alternate source of heat, in addition to the wood burning stove.  My main concern is that the children are warm, dry, and supplied with all the necessary tools needed to be educated physically, mentally and spiritually.  I enjoy what I do and really need help to accomplish these projects.  Please consider making a contribution to aid in the true education of these students that God has entrusted in my care.  I am soliciting your donations, but will accept materials for the projects as well.
