Hello CVCHS Family,

My name is Agnieszka Holda and I am a Physical Education teacher at CVCHS.    I would like to share with you information about a fundraiser that has been created for students from Ukraine who have been enrolled at Szkola Podstawowa Wandy Rutkiewicz in Rzaska near Cracow, Poland. The students escaped the war in Ukraine with their families but are in desperate need of school supplies and clothing. There are currently 40 refugee students enrolled in the school and would directly benefit from the money raised.

 I grew up in Poland and moved to the US in 2006. I still have family in Poland and Ukraine and what is happening is close to my heart. I am a passionate educator who wants to give back to a local school and is hoping to raise money for refugees attending the elementary school which I attended. In fact, I now have a nephew who is currently a student at the school.

 
My goal is to raise $20,000 to help cover necessary expenses for Ukrainian students to attend school in Poland.
