My name is Lucia,and since many months I have been working and living in Colombia supporting and learning from the local indigenous Arhuaco community.
An ancient culture that resides in the mountains of the sacred Sierra Nevada. Many families live far from villages and live with what Mother Nature offers with all the difficulties that this implies.
At the moment one of the project and dream is to support the education among the children of the mountains. There is only one teacher in this side of the Mountain who gathers together all kids of different ages to ensure basic education to them, giving them the possibility to become the adult of the future, with open mind and enough knowledge to take good care of themselves, respect and be respected and find a proper way to live and suppprt their families.
Education is one of the most important right for any human being but in Colombia the government support is very often lacking and the professor never received any salary for his sacred service. He has been forgotten as many others.
The funds will ensure him and his family to have the minimum needed to survive (food, clothes, shelter) and the students to have the guidance to grow with more strength and with a better future.
I am personally taking care of this project with no intermediates of any kind to make sure that all tour offers will go directly in the hands pf the Professor.

Mi chiamo Lucia e da molti mesi lavoro e vivo in Colombia sostenendo e imparando dalla comunità indigena locale Arhuaco.
Un'antica cultura che risiede nelle montagne della sacra Sierra Nevada. Molte famiglie vivono lontano dai villaggi e vivono con ciò che Madre Natura offre con tutte le difficoltà che questo implica.
Al momento uno dei progetti e dei sogni è sostenere l'istruzione tra i bambini delle montagne. C'è solo un insegnante in questo lato della montagna che riunisce tutti i bambini di età diverse per garantire loro un'istruzione di base, dando loro la possibilità di diventare gli adulti del futuro, con una mente aperta e abbastanza conoscenza per prendersi cura di se stessi, rispettare ed essere rispettati e trovare un modo adeguato per vivere e sostenere le loro famiglie. L'istruzione è uno dei diritti più importanti per qualsiasi essere umano, ma in Colombia il sostegno del governo è molto spesso carente e il professore non ha mai ricevuto alcuno stipendio per il suo sacro servizio. È stato dimenticato come molti altri.
I fondi assicureranno che lui e la sua famiglia abbiano il minimo necessario per sopravvivere (cibo, vestiti, riparo) e che gli studenti abbiano la guida per crescere con più forza e con un futuro migliore.
Mi sto occupando personalmente di questo progetto senza intermedi di alcun tipo per assicurarmi che tutte le offerte del tour vadano direttamente nelle mani del professore.
