Hey friends,It's Gabriel/Gabe/Mexi-fry, and I created this GoFundMe page for Matthew to get some help with the final amount due for his first year of University. I met his mother Donna, a single mother of 5, here in my new home in Nashville. Due to the current climate and working TWO jobs, she's only been able to raise $4000.00 of the remaining $13,800.00 due by the end of next month. Matthew was able to get $15,000.00 in scholarships toward his tuition, which is $28,800.00.
So, I wanted to see if we could help this young man from Jamaica and pay for the rest of the amount so he can pursue his studies here in Nashville. If you feel called, please give whatever you can. HE NEEDS TO RAISE ALL OF THE MONEY BEFORE GETTING AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE EMBASSY TO ATTEND ORIENTATION. Below is a note from his mother and a little bio that Matthew wrote up for you all. My name is Matthew Allen. Student in my fifth year of high school. I love watching Asian series, playing games, learning foreign languages (especially Spanish and French) and dancing. These hobbies have helped me to build new relationships and have given me the opportunity to meet a lot of unique individuals. I have always aspired to be a criminal psychologist or a professor of psychology. Hence, I have studied subjects that will provide me with knowledge prior to attending university; Biology, Chemistry, Social Studies, Physics, English Language, Mathematics and English Literature. In hopes of starting my journey at Trevecca Nazarene University, I plan on pursuing a double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. It would be a dream come true to be able to start my university journey in the next few months.
