My name is Samuel Adjei, I am leading the Friends and Old students of the school to raise funds to purchase a school bus to mark the 25th anniversary of the school. Gye Nyame School is situated in Bohyen, Asuogya in Kumasi, southern part of Ghana, and desperately needs a school bus to help transport children from nearby villages to and from school

The need has come to seek external support to raise funds to purchase a school bus.

Children face a daily journey that puts their safety and well-being at significant risk. Walking distances of 5 to 10 miles to school are a common reality—a tiring trek that exposes them to numerous dangers, including harsh weather conditions, accidents, and even threats and violence.

For these children, the journey to education is more than just a walk; it’s an obstacle that threatens their health, safety, and future prospects. Many endure exhaustion, injuries, or skip school altogether due to safety concerns. The lack of reliable transportation restricts access to quality education, undermining the very foundation of their future.

Our goal is to provide safe and reliable transportation through the acquisition of a school bus. This initiative will transform lives by:
