We are a group of volunteers who have been living in Ghana, near Kumasi, since September.

We are doing voluntary service with KulturLife as part of the Weltwärts program. We work at a school called Stepping Stones Academy and on its associated soccer project.

After many years of use, the school bus is no longer roadworthy. This means that the children no longer have the opportunity to travel the long distance to school by bus, which also shortens teaching time due to delays. It is also no longer possible to participate in away soccer games.

As the purchase of a new school bus is very expensive, we are dependent on donations. This bus would help the school in many areas for many years to come.

Wir sind eine Gruppe von Freiwilligen, die seit September in Ghana, Nähe Kumasi, leben.

Wir machen einen Weltwärts-Freiwilligendienst mit KulturLife. Wir arbeiten an einer Schule „Stepping Stones Academy“ und im zugehörigen Fußballprojekt.

Nach langjähriger Benutzung ist der Schulbus der Schule nicht mehr fahrtüchtig. Die Kinder haben dadurch nicht mehr die Chance den weiten Weg mit dem Bus zur Schule zu fahren, was auch zur Verkürzung der Unterrichtszeit durch Verspätung sorgt. Auch ist die Teilnahme an Auswärts Fußballspielen nicht mehr möglich.

Da die Anschaffung eines neuen Schulbusses sehr teuer ist, sind wir auf Spenden angewiesen. Dieser Bus würde der Schule in vielen Bereichen langjährig helfen.
