Education Fundraiser in Memory of Richmond Amoah
Donation protected
In loving memory of Richmond Amoah (1995-2023), we would like to express our gratitude for your unwavering support in carrying forward Richmond's extraordinary legacy of improving education for children in lower-income communities. Thanks to your generous donations to Ntumkunso Presbyterian School in Ghana, we have surpassed our initial fundraising goal of £28,000 (£1,000 for each year of Richmond's life).
Inspired by Richmond’s commitment to education, we have completed the school building that Richmond worked hard to support and to furnish the classrooms of the students that Richmond cared deeply about. However, we know there’s more impact we can all make. To continue this work to keep Richmond’s legacy and impact alive, a group of Richmond’s family and friends will be running in the Oxford Half Marathon (21km) on Sunday, 13th October to raise money for our existing and new initiatives with Ntumkunso Presbyterian School.
Some of these efforts include:
- Building a multi-purpose community hall to provide safe and inclusive spaces for learning, sports activities to promote physical and mental health and gathering spaces for the community.
- Providing important books and resources for the school’s library.
- Working to set up a financial aid scheme to help deserving students overcome financial barriers to continuing their education.
Richmond believed that education was the key to improving our lives and he was always the first person to offer support, warmth and encouragement to students or family members who needed help with their studies. This is the legacy we hope to continue in his name. Thank you so much for your ongoing support!
Love and blessings,
