The goal is to raise $1500 for a School Bag Project for students of Taloyoak and Gjoa-Haven, Nunavut. All proceeds will go to students of Netsilik School and Quqshuun ilihaqvik this up coming school year. It’s important that children and youth have access to school supplies while we go through this pandemic together, even more so that we do not have easy access to basic school needs at a fair price.
We hope that your donations will give students an easier school year with tools such as pencils, pens, notebooks, erasers, pencil sharpeners and pencil cases. These would make up a better learning process as student need these supplies as we do in a classroom.
Taloyoak and Gjoa Haven are small, remote, indigenous communities in Canada's arctic. Because they are fly in communities, it is very hard for youth to get the school supplies they need to succeed. Proceeds will go towards helping around 500 students of Netsilik School and Quqshuun ilihaqvik this up coming school year.
By helping out you will bring smiles to students who do not have resources or access for these supplies and will support a more efficient school year for these young students.
