My daughter Diane and her boyfriend Dakota were killed on April 22, 2022, on their motorcycle as they waited at a stop sign.

In the second year after their death, we started The Diane Gonzalez and Dakota Morrison Memorial Scholarship in their memory. The funds raised sponsor scholarships to high school seniors.

The man that killed my daughter only received a traffic ticket. Our family has been devastated. These fundraising efforts help us focus on something positive in our time of devastation and grief.

Diane left behind three young children. The scholarship is another way to carry on her legacy for them.
