How can you help motivated children of color from working poor families in Chicago's toughest neighborhoods graduate from college?

Help them get a rigorous, elementary school education at Altus Academy, a tuition-free, nonprofit serving the West Side of Chicago.

We're raising money to cover the cost of a private education for 4 students at Altus Academy. The cost is $10,000 per student, per year, and any donation will make an impact.

According to a recent study done by the UChicago Consortium, only 20% of Chicago Public School 9th-graders are on track to graduate from college. Studies also show that eighth-grade core GPA is the best predictor of high school success, and, ultimately, being on track to graduate from college.

Altus Academy offers an alternative for underserved families by helping them overcome significant barriers to a quality education. We are able to accomplish this by offering a tuition-free, rigorous, private, elementary education for families in some of Chicago's toughest neighborhoods... and our results have been spectacular:
