Hello, my name is Rehana Yasmeen, from Bhagtal, District Chakwal, Pakistan. Since grade 5, I have been working part-time to support my education. Through perseverance, I completed my Bachelor’s degree on a scholarship—proving that with determination, even the toughest barriers can be overcome.

Growing up in a farming community, I saw how climate change devastated crops, livelihoods, and food security. These struggles inspired me to dedicate my studies to biomaterials and environmental sustainability—so I can create solutions that protect both people and the planet.

Now, I am honored to have been admitted to the University of Grenoble INP – Pagora, France, a leading institution in my field. I have also been awarded the prestigious IDEX Scholarship, which will cover my tuition and partial living expenses. However, this scholarship becomes active only in October, after I arrive in France.

✨ My Challenge:

I urgently need support to cover my travel, visa, initial settlement, and first tuition installment. Coming from an underprivileged background, I cannot manage these costs alone.

My Dream:

By studying in France, I will gain international exposure and a deeper understanding of my subject, equipping me to tackle real-world environmental challenges and bring sustainable solutions back to my community and beyond.

Every contribution—big or small—will bring me one step closer to my dream of becoming a changemaker in the fight against climate change.
