Scholarship to be awarded to a Criminal Justice Student at Passaic County Technical Institute.
Many of you have asked if there will be a service/viewing for my father. He did not wish to have one but I felt I needed to honor him in some way. I then started receiving/seeing so many wonderful posts from his past students that I decided this would be a way of honoring my father.

"My best friend, my Dad, passed away this morning. These last two years have put a lot of stress on his body. I always said he had nine lives, first he was a cop, was shot at and then hit by a car while directing traffic. Had 2 stents and ultimately a bypass. Was bleeding internally from taking Eliquis. Doctors didn’t understand how he was still able to walk himself into the hospital. Then these past two years with a botched knee surgery to amputation of his leg. It wasn’t fair for such a strong man to have to live this way and I think he knew it. In the end he will always be my Dad, my best friend, my rock. The man who ALWAYS took care of me, my sister and my mother. I'm going to miss our very short talks on the phone (he was a man of few words, “u good, ok here’s ur mom” and texting him was like texting with Yoda, my sister and I were like detectives trying to decipher his cryptic messages). I love you and I’m going to miss you until my last dying breath. Until we meet again!!!"
