Scholarship in memory of Stergios Katsaros
Donation protected
As many of you know, our friend and colleague George Katsaros lost his son Stergios in a tragic accident over the summer. Stergios was about to graduate from medical school in Greece and was planning to move to the United States to pursue a career in medical research. We are creating a scholarship in his memory that will be awarded to a pre-med student on the same path Stergios was pursuing. Our goal is $7500. For every dollar that we raise, the Correa family will match it up to a total of $7500. That $15,000 will allow us to set up the scholarship as an endowment, which means the money will be invested and continue to grow and will be awarded year after year to new students in his memory. So please give today and help us memorialize this remarkable young man who was taken from the world way too soon.
