Larry Dembinski, a beloved husband, father, son, and great friend passed away from a sudden illness on December 20, 2018. LD (Rocky) will be remembered for his gregarious personality, his sharp sense of humor, and an unwavering commitment to his family, friends, colleagues, and students. LD touched the lives of countless people, and he will be deeply missed. 

There is a Memorial Service on January 17, 2019 at Mililani Mortuary, Makai Chapel. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:30 and service to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Raoul's scholarship fund, here. 

There will be a Celebration of Life for Larry happening on May 4, 2019 in Valparaiso. (Details to follow)

LD is survived by his wife Kathy, son Raoul, and his parents, Larry Sr. and Yvonne. LD knew the importance of education through the teachers who taught him and the students that he taught at High Core Program at Storefront School. In honor of his limitless generosity, kindness towards others, and his fierce love for his boy, Raoul; friends of LD opened this campaign to support a scholarship to help fund Raoul's continuing education. The fund will be managed by his wife, Kathy.
