It can be difficult it can be to balance academics, work, and the ongoing concern of affording books, tuition, and living expenses. Many talented individuals—especially students of color and first-generation college students—possess the determination to succeed but face significant financial barriers. Knowing how tough it can be, I am motivated to help another student who is navigating similar obstacles.
