Hello Friends, 

Gail Schmidt is my very best friend, more like a sister really. She and her husband, Patrick, adopted their four beautiful children who all have various special needs. Gail and Patrick moved to Galveston to be closer to family, and since the move have had one setback after another, and I cannot fathom how they carried on daily. Gail has been terribly ill this past year with neurological complications due to Type I Diabetes and struggles with her own daily living issues, her treatment is expensive and not covered by insurance, and now the bottom has simply dropped out as Patrick passed away on May 31st.

This family is in desperate need of assistance. Please, help with any amount you can. I love them all so much.
