My name is Katrina, and I've started this fundraiser to assist my father-in-law, Scott Schlenvogt, with medical and living expenses as Scott navigates cancer treatment.

Early June 2021, Scott suffered a heart attack. While in the hospital, doctors determined various symptoms pointing toward cancer. The last few weeks have brought many appointments and tests, and now we have answers. Scott has been diagnosed with stage 3 advanced colorectal cancer. This will require surgery and rounds of radiation and chemotherapy.

Scott will be out of work for the foreseeable future as he undergoes surgery in Green Bay, WI, weekly chemotherapy in Escanaba, MI, and five days a week radiation in Marinette, WI. In addition to medical expenses, this fundraiser will assist his family with peace-of-mind for daily living expenses (mortgage, car payments, electric, gas, water, etc...) as well as travel expenses to-and-from appointments.
