In the Fall of 2019 Scott Schirl was diagnosed with Stage IV stomach cancer. His family is facing a long battle with a surgery, long term recovery and additional chemotherapy treatments. This also has resulted in quite a bit of time off from work for both Katie and Scott to make it to appointments and current chemotherapy treatments.
