Hi, my name is Serenity the oldest of 7 and I am fundraising for fire damage costs for my parents Ray and Jen who just celebrated 13 years. A family of four (Ray, Jen, and my two young siblings)(Nadiya Rae and Josiahwho had a house fire in the middle of the night. They have spent years DYI remodeling and fixing up the trailer they bought in 2010.  Which unknown to them there was a hole in the livingroom  floor. This is the home I grew up in during high school with my other siblings. This home both my siblings were born into and the only home that they have known and they were ripped from it do to this fire.

 

Right before Covid they had no debt and they decided to remodel instead of buying a house. They have spent the last 2ish years putting in new walls and appliances, as well as flooring, cabinets, etc. Using every last dime, their time, energy, and financing they could. If it wasn't for flame retardant drywall and them being awake for an extra couple of minutes, it is very likely they wouldn't have made it out of it.

They are uninsured and my father is a disabled veteran (50%) in need help with displacement costs bill's and contractors and building supplies for he has put so much into this home financing and labor. Piles of receipts from Menards and Lowes...

 

It is with God's help that they were awake and the fire did NOT spread to the propane tank.

Update pipe bust frozen tub and toilet lol but water is now totally off trying to get salamander running under but generator power not enough
