Schatzi has what’s called chiari malformation brain stem decompression surgery August 22, this is a very debilitating issue she has been battling for some time now. I will share a link Below.
You will have to forgive me because this is the first time I have ever done anything like this. She has been helping me at the shop as most of you who are friends know but also know she is not always able to help as much as she would like.
We have exhausted all funding from the store and she still needs to get to North Carolina for surgery. We have borrowed to the extent of there is no more to borrow. This is why I have swallowed my pride and place this for her. I am not one to ask for anything but this is not for me!
The doctor has said her only chance at a somewhat normal life and that is not guaranteed is this surgery. Here is the link to explain some of what’s happening.

Some of the funds are needed to get her there, other funds are for housing after the surgery. She will have to stay in the area after the surgery for a week to ensure there are no post complications and the doctor wants her there just Incase. Then there are the co-payments for surgery doctor visits and revisited doctor trips to him after surgery. Scripts and more scripts.
These funds could make this financial setback possible and make this happen long term.
