Ollie’s joyful countenance lit up every room he entered. There wasn’t a person who met him who he didn’t love or didn’t fall in love with him. After all he was love on four legs, and everyone can benefit from love.
At 10pm on November 10, I received one of the most heartbreaking calls of my life. Ollie had died. I left to pick him up immediately. When I arrived, the reality set in, Ollie had been killed.
Ollie had been in an in home board and train so he would never have to leave the love and comfort of a home. He was there to work on not lifting his leg indoors, and excitement jumping. Then continued at the trainers request. His return kept being put off until she killed him.
What he endured was unimaginable, confined to a kennel with no food or water, in his own excrement, starved to death, along with various other injuries noted in his forensic necropsy.
He left us at 22lbs and was picked up dead at 8lbs.
There are many fees legal and otherwise associated with this process. We want justice and will do what it takes to see this through.
We will be taking this to the media. The more people who see this the better as this is a long process and she is continuing to take people’s dogs into her own home.
No remorse has been shown. She had a smile on her face when I left.
She will be facing criminal charges. Keeping other dogs out of her possession, in Texas, has to be done in a civil court case. Right now there is nothing stopping her from doing this again.
