Jump For Life - Jump for Movember and Target Ovarian Cancer
Our mothers, fathers, partners, siblings, and friends are facing health crises that are too often ignored. From men’s mental health and cancers to the devastating impact of ovarian cancer, these challenges affect countless lives. Yet conversations are still too rare, and support is not always there when it’s needed most.
We believe it’s time to change that.
That’s why we’re raising awareness and funds for Movember and Target Ovarian Cancer - two leading charities tackling these urgent issues head-on. Movember is transforming the future of men’s health through groundbreaking projects in prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. Target Ovarian Cancer is leading the fight against ovarian cancer by funding research, improving early diagnosis, and supporting those affected.
To show just how much they care, our staff are not just raising money - they're jumping out of planes! Every conversation we spark and every pound we raise brings us one step closer to a healthier future for all. We are raising for both charities but due to technical reasons could only put one down on this GoFundMe page.
We already have thirteen staff members from accross the college taking part, not just teachers, and they will be jumping near the end of June. Due to the size of our group of brave volunteers, they won't all be jumping on the same day, so check out there individual pages for more info on the specifics for each jumper and to donate to someone in particular. They are linked above as co-organisers.
We will be inviting guest speakers in to school, having pastoral sessions on these charities' causes and our jumpers will be updating you with their own messages, stories and reasons for wanting to make a difference.
