Help Us Celebrate the Future of Nursing:
Hello friends, family, and supporters of healthcare workers,
We are the proud (and tired!) members of an accelerated 18-month nursing program—a cohort of 50 future nurses—soon to be graduates who have spent the last year and a half balancing intense lectures, hands-on labs, high-pressure simulations, clinical rotations, and for many of us, full- or part-time jobs.
As a cohort, we’ve been through some of the most challenging times of our lives. Some of us had to give up work, time with our families, and personal milestones just to make it through this program. But we’ve also formed a bond like no other, and we are almost at the finish line: our pinning ceremony—a moment every nurse dreams of.
This ceremony is more than a tradition. It’s a symbol of our dedication, sacrifice, and resilience. It’s a way to honor the people who stood beside us: our parents, partners, children, friends, mentors, and more.
But here's the catch: we are responsible for funding the entire event ourselves.
We’re raising funds to cover:
* A venue that can host our 500+ guests
* Decorations, photographer, Photo Booth and ceremony supplies
* Snacks and beverages
* Live-streaming for loved ones who can’t attend
* All the little details that make this event meaningful and memorable
Your support would mean the world to us—not just as nursing students, but as future nurses entering a profession that demands everything we have, every single day. By contributing to our ceremony, you're helping us close one chapter and open the next with gratitude and pride.
Whether you donate, share, or simply send love our way—thank you for believing in us and walking with us through this journey. We can’t wait to celebrate with you.
With heartfelt thanks,
The 50 Members of Spokane Community College Nursing Class Winter of 2026
