Stillwater is the home of Oklahoma State University (OSU) with over 25,000 students including 2,000 internationals. Particularly, there are over 500 students from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other Chinese-speaking regions and counties, and more than 100 visiting professors or scholars each year from
Chinese universities/ research institutes. In addition, over 100 Chinese faculty and staff work at OSU. The total Chinese- speaking population in Stillwater is close to 1,000, and this number continues to climb each year. With such a vast gospel field prepared by God, the Stillwater Chinese Baptist Church, however, doesn't
own a stable place to boldly proclaim the gospel and to expand God's kingdom. Therefore, the construction of the church building is imminent, and it is also the vision of our church congregation.
With God’s blessing, the architectural design of a brand-new, 7,000-square-foot church building is about to be completed. The construction is expected to start sometime in this Fall. It will be a huge blessing to us to have a permanent place where we can worship God, spread Gospel, and serve local Chinese and internationals in the Stillwater community. It is our sincere hope that you support us financially. In the meantime, we covet your prayers, asking for God’s guidance and provision during the building process. Thank you and God bless you!
(P.S. This platform is set up for the convenience of the donors that are external to SCBC. Local SCBC brothers and sisters are encouraged to give via checks or other means directly to SCBC.)
